KPressCalc is a multifunction tool that allows us to solve a lot of different problems. For example, the core is designed to be able to perform any type of calculation, from simple administrative calculations to complex scientific calculations ...

 Â
The core of KPressCalc has a very powerful and easy programming language, which will allow us to implement any process we need.

KPressCalc allows us to solve from immediate calculations (using the traditional calculator format) to complex problems (by programming them efficiently).  The core of KPressCalc provides a programming language that allows to implement any process we need. The following shows a file in PDF format, which explains the rules and conventions for programming with KPressCalc.    In the tutorials’ area you may access different videos where you will see the power and some of the main KPressCalc features.  Â
If you have not handled any KPressCalc program we advise you go first the Basic programming section to see the main features and the philosophy of the KPressCalc programming language.  Obviously, there are many complex calculations or processes whose implementation will need the use of some oadvanced features of the KPressCalc programming language: recursion, lists, libraries, etc.. The following shows a file in PDF format where you can see the explanation of some of these advanced features.    When installing KPressCalc there are different examples of advanced programming with open source, and you can use them freely. One of them is the Simplex Method ...  The Simplex Method (George Dantzig 1947) is an algorithm that through iterations is approaching to the optimal solution of a linear programming problem.  The PDF file below explains the steps followed to implement the Simplex Method with KPressCalc, also in this link there is a demonstrative video of the use of this program from KPressCalc for obtaining the optimal investment values starting from an available capital and a set of assumptions that affect the investment.   Â

SIMPLEX Method (George Dantzig) is an algorithm that through iterations is approaching to the optimal solution of a linear programming problem.  We have implemented the Simplex Method in KPressCalc (completely free tool) and we will see an example of how to apply it. There are many problems that can be solved with SIMPLEX, in our example we use it for calculating the optimal investment taking into account different conditions: Â
Obviously the function to be maximized is Z = 0.1A + 0.05B + 0.045C + 0.055D. The approach and the solution proposed are available in the attached video (you can stop at any time if you want to analyze the content).  On programming tab it is explained Simplex Method and its implementation in KPressCalc; you has to know that this is an advanced programming problem where we have used some of the most powerful features of KPressCalc.  Below we will see the solution to a problem of entertainment: "Hanoi Towers", which you've probably ever seen and you could not solve (depending on the number of disks in the initial tower).  Â
The problem known as Hanoi Towers is a mathematical game invented by Eduard Lucas (known French mathematician) that will help us develop the concentration. Â
KPressCalc power allows user to create any type of process, this time we have added a module that is able to show the list of moves to perform for any number of disks.  Above we can access to a video that shows an animation with the necessary movements for the case of 8 disks (255 movements); below we can see the solutions to the game for different configurations about the number of disks.   Â
Â
KPressCalc is a freeware, i.e., the user does not have to pay anything for its installation and use. This is a very useful tool that facilitates everyday tasks greatly, either administrative or scientific or financial, and improves the shortcomings of the applications supplied with operating systems.   So, it is an essential application on the desktop, often used by a large number of users.  KeyPress Software offers the possibility to distribute a personalized version of KPressCalc, for example from your website or by email, to your current customers, potential customers, suppliers, students, etc., thus creating a communication channel that will revert positively on your business, your relationships, etc..  Above you can see some examples of customized distribution. You can handle quickly and simply the messages you want to transmit every moment.  Contact our KPressCalc department (distribution) and we will inform you about the conditions of this service.
